An 18-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man have been arrested after a restaurant was attacked and set ablaze in East London injuring at least five people. The blaze erupted at Indian Aroma on Woodford Avenue in Gants Hill in Ilford, late Friday evening. The fire fighters arrived at the scene within minutes and spent up to an hour and a half to fight the fire. Three of the injured women and two men were taken to hospital with two being in life threatening conditions. Police did confirm the arrests but said more investigation was underway as to the cause and circumstances of the event.
